The only way to buy boiled peanuts is to get them from some dude on the side of the road who has boiled them in a beer keg that he has cut in half and made into a boiler.
Prime locations:
Blue Angel Parkway - Pensacola, FL: Just north of Sorrento Rd. right after the turnoff to go to Johnson Beach. THe dude is there every day, every summer, rain or shine.
Anywhere along the road inbetween Seminole, AL and Foley, AL. You can find some good strawberries out that way too. |

@Modskin,
While in Seminole, you can also hit the Food Barn Restaurant for all you can eat pork chops and dirty rice. I'm pretty sure it goes down on Monday nights.
@Slob,
Bring it. |

I am of the opinion that boiled peanuts are some kind of cruel hoax designed to fleece tourists once.
I cannot fathom anyone ever purchasing them twice. |

Zodiac. The Food Barn is actually in the community of Beulah, a suburb of Pensacola, and only 2 minutes from my parents' house. About 5 minutes across the line from Seminole.
Sadly, it is no longer open. |
