Since the band has cut me from JD before playing, I moved on to bigger clearer things- including a dash of Coke. Long Island Ice Teas...what the hell - Friday's show went pretty good, too.

But I'm a standard Gin and Water with Lemon, Lime and a cherry on top- proceed to poke with straw then guzzle. I don't have to ask my usual bartender pours it when I walk in - so I don't sound like a pussy.

You're not kidding. I guess I respect it for what it is, but living in Colorado and working on car restorations for a living sucks from about the beginning of October through most of April. It's fine here right now, but I'm couped up because of a knee injury.

I would rather be in 90 degree weather than anything below freezing.

I just need to move to a warmer climate... some place with an ocean front and palm trees would be fine with me.

But then you got those pesky hurricanes...and mosquitoes...

Aruba is like 85 year round, out of Hurricane alley, with beautiful water, locals are friendly, has a WAY ghetto skatepark in downtown Oranjestad...a very killer empty pool at a defunct resort, and a lot of their traffic medians are foot and a half quarters....NOYCE!!!

BUT it is expensive as fuck, and they kidnap/croak Alabama girls.

Worked at a bottling facility running the depalletizer...for a day. A machine took pallets of empty cans off a tractor trailer. Went into an elevator then a machine swept the cans off one level at a time (400 cans per line).

OK, so I'm working along and the machine fails to lift off a top pallet. Elevator starts lifting cans, but the machine is not working. Smoke flies, cans crush...yeah 10,000 cans.

Assholes come running at me, saying they're literally going to kill me, motherfucker, etc. Yeah, nobody showed me the STOP button.

End up stomping cans for about 9 hours (10 hour shifts). Head out and somebody had kicked in the door of my car. NICE...Comedic when they asked me back. Um, NO

Psycho motherfuckers needed to stop drinking so many $.10 cans of Coke. Was going to pee in the empties, but instead greatly vandelized the property.

Good for you! I would have done a lot more in your shoes than vandalize the building. My co-workers who threatened me wouldn't have cars to drive.

You know, the only thing that pisses me off in my work place more than people who don't try and do their job is when people get all bent out of shape when accidents happen.

It's just work. Shit happens, it has happened before and it will happen again. There is no need for someone to collect so much emotional attachment to something work related. I can see getting a little frustrated if someone fucks something up out of lazyness or if they should know better, but that's not the case.

It's one thing to take pride in your work, but even if you set the building on fire, they shouldn't feel so fucking angry. The co-workers aren't out anything personally other than more work which will earn them more money, so what the hell is the problem?

The company may take a hit, but they should have their asses covered with insurance and if not, then they're in no place to take risks with having machinery like that at their facility. Deal.

In truth, the negligance was held in the person who trained you to improperly use the machinery. It always comes down to somenoe being lazy. It wasn't your fault.

I'll just stick to the west coast somewhere, maybe San Diego. My girl has relatives out there too, but I have lived in Denver my whole life, so I know everyone here... What to do...
