This is a jump at in my familys town a 1,000 miles from where I live. I broke my only board the 1st time. Had to leave right after. Had to wait a year to visit them and try it again. I'd appreciate if you all watch it because I skate by myself mostly and really don't have anyone that shares my joy of skating except for you guys. I did all the editing myself and would love an opionion on that. If anyone knows a better free host, please post a link. Thanx for your time!

I can watch it, but it "stocked" alittle after the intro. I wanted to change it in a compressed video, but it also get me an error after the intro. Maybe its an error in the video or i got the wrong DV/Video Codec? Dont know...
After editing you should always compress a VIdeofile with xvid (free), divx (trial) or normal mpeg. Those 2/3 min with music should be not larger as 10 mb.
You can upload files to max 50mb. here http://rapidshare.de/ . Its german, but easy click and go. Choose the file from your hardware, cklick upload and then you get 2 links, one for download and a secret delete link. The file stays always online if some downloads it, only if no longer as 30days nobody downloads it, it will be deleted.
Download is one IP at an hour or you got to change ip and delete the cookie (then you can download as often you want there. Speed is fatser then Megaupload. Should be full DSL.
puuuhhhhh, thats the one for the nerd stuff, hope it helps
Now to the video, haha, great stunt. The Ending Text should be;
No Oldschool/Poolboards were harmed, destroyed or killed doing this Video.
All Stunts were made with Popsicles.
(i hope so!!)
And give your wife the gloves for cooking back !!!

thanx for the reply. I need to work on the encoding part. I used Sony Vegas for the editing and always seem to get lost with all the encoding options. I thought I used divx.
Believe it or not, I hardly ever ride popsicles. The 1st clip was with a bl grosso 8.5 popsicle, however the one I landed it with was a G&S squared doublekick from 91 or 92' |

Encoding is really nerd stuff. But your cutting and musicwork looks fine, you should work on compressing and then it will look really good.
Remember 2 things, always use codecs everybody has on the computer to watch them and keep the files small - so more people will download it and see your skating.

Popsicles are for playing, Oldschool/Poolboards are for real man skating
But for thoes type of trick, its better to choose a bigger Board to land that drop.
At least the quality of older Boards is better and they are tougher then those popsicles. |

thanx for the info. I re-encoded with divx and it shortened to 30 mg. I believe the audio section is uncompressed and the reason for the larger size. I always use "44k-16b". I guess it's a wav file or something. I have to make a screen shot of the other options. They aren't like mp3 or anything and confusing as hell. I should know this better, I have dabbled with electronic music production for probably years now. I might post a song next |

Use 128kbits 48 000 Hz mp3 (mpeg layer), good enough sound for a skatevideo and your nextfile should be in the right size |
