Allright motherfuckers! It's almost summer, and summer means shrimp!!!! Let's see those recipes for the perfect food. Bring 'em!
here's mine:
Midway Inlet BBQ Shrimp.
3 lbs. large (not jumbo) shrimp
2 lemons
1 stick butter
16 oz. Worcestershire
1 lg. loaf French or Italian bread
Place shrimp in to a large Pyrex casserole dish.
Add Worcestershire.
Cut butter into pats and place on top of shrimp.
Cut lemon into rounds and place on top of shrimp.
Bake in 400 degree oven for 15 minutes.
Remove and stir.
Return to oven for 10 minutes or until all shrimp is firm and cooked through.
Remove shrimp to a large bowl, peel and eat. KEEP the liquid in the Pyrex!!! This is for the bread. Tear opff chunks and dip. Enjoy! |

That sauce and bread combo sounds VERY much like what they serve their muscles appetizer in over at Bonefish Grill. I could friggin drink that sauce right outta the bowl after eating the muscles! It's like crack on bread too!
I got one I will find....a nice schizkabob(sp?) dealy....you will like it.

It's got a good bit of shrimp to cover. And yes, the Butter and the lemons balance it out. |

Hey what's up...cooked a bit too late and probably left it in the oven a little too long actually (Think their oven is beyond the temp)- I got all fucked up smokin (As always)/drinkin (Dos Manos Anejo) that we were stuffed by the time it went in the oven. Pissed me off since I bought good fresh shit.
I think it's a good base for sure...next time I think I'll chop a bunch of green onions, garlic or ginger, and throw in my mix of spices & shit - but people did think the Worchestershire mellowed...like we weren't just eating worchestershire sauce.
I know it was all surely eaten. |

say zodiac
aren't you missing the garlic and fresh cracked black pepper?
What is thato? Yankee bbq scrimps?
Do what Zodiac said do, Just add about 3 tablespoons fresh chopped garlic, no that shit in a jar is rancid, and if you want to use garlic powder then go ahead, you deserve to eat shit. Add about 20 turns of black pepper out of your mill also. Make sure you use head on scrimps to get all the good fat. Works really well with white scrimps. Finishing it with green onions is a nice touch also.
For any leftovers, take a loaf of french bread and cut a piece about 7 inches from the end. Take your fingers and hollow that end piece out, careful not to tear a hole in it. Peel a few scirimps and toss em in , then pour some of that sweet sweet bbq base in there. Get ya a Turbo Dog and fucking enjoy! |

TurboDog is fine, just stay away from the Purple Haze. That's for women. |
