Haha, great you were there too! That was indeed a great show. I even got some pictures of that night. Lintfabriek was the place to be.
In that period there were awesome gigs every week with sic bands playing! Those were the days. Too bad it had to shut down a few years ago.
Good shows are hard to find these days....
How was Groezrock by the way?

oh yeah, the Lintfabriek...crazy venue, considering it was in the basement of a regular house in the middle of a smaller, suburban-type village...

I've been there as well when I studied in brussels (and even later), but by then I was over the hardcore stuff - I was there to see garage-rock'n roll bands like Zeke, the Loudmouths, etc and the godfather of dirty R'n'B, Andre Williams...

good times for sure, nice people...

Love that Avail poster, I can't remember if I was there but I visited Lintfabriek a LOT and saw Avail numerous times..one of my favorite bands and the only band I have a complete vinyl collection of..every version of every record.

I saw all those Battery and Ignite shows as well, but probably at other venues than you did

I remember I once saw a dude there who went completely bananas because he had missed out the Congress show... they were the local heroes, I think, kinda metallic hardcore stuff, ca.1995. Dude went wild and threw his bike around... tss..

I saw most of all the bands I've ever seen @ Lintfabriek. There was almost every week a hardcore, punk or punk rock show in the 90's. I miss those days.... If you're lucky now there are a few good shows in Belgium in a whole year. When Lintfabriek closed it's doors a few years ago it seemed that the good gigs in Belgium died with it.
All those posters are from Lintfabriek exept one Ignite & Battery show. Those where @ the Kompas in St-Niklaas.

Memorable shows @ Lintfabriek : Negative Approach, Spermbirds, Cro-mags, UK Subs, No Fun at All, Lagwagon, NOFX, Battery,Approach to Concrete,Face to Face, Damnation, Ryker's, Ignite, Yuppicide, Strife, New Bomb Turks, Millencolin,59 Times the Pain, Satanic Surfers,Horace Pinker, Avail, Strain,Strung Out, Unsure, Gwyllions, Bodyjar, Refused,Earth Crisis, Venerea, and many many more.........

It's already torn down to the ground now to put some fucking appartments on there. And the reason after 25 awesome years? Safety reasons..... My opinion? Just a crappy reason of the mayor to make money out of shitty apprtments iso of a socalled "drughole" for the locals. Fuck him!
