ask and ye shall receive.....this stuff is addicting...not your typical Chex Party mix.....be warned!
SCRABBLE RECIPE
3 cups each of rice, wheat, and corn chex
2 cups cheereos
2 cups cheeze-its
2 cups dry roasted nuts
1.5 cups thin pretzel sticks
1 cup gold fish crackers (optional)

1 stick butter
6-8 tbsp of worsterchire sauce
1 tbsp lawry's seasoned salt
2 tsp garlic powder
1.5 tsp onion powder
Melt butter, add worsterchire and spices, mix together
Pour melted butter and spices over dry ingredients and mix thoroughly

OK, so I made this yesterday - warning, it makes a HUGE batch...anyhoo,
it's good. Interesting though, if you read the recipie on the side of the CHEX box, it's the same - only they omit the cheerios (the competition's...) and goldfish/cheese it's - spices are the same. I added some Emeril's essence to spice it up a bit, and so I could justify saying
" B A M ! " during preparation.
Packed it up and am giving some away - like I said, it makes a bunch. |
