Burgers and Dogs...

Just did this yesterday,

hot dogs -

100% beef.
burnt to a crisp
sliced open lengthwise with american cheese melted in the valley
top with mustard AND ketchup

burgers -

first of all, never frozen burgers

chopped jalapenos mixed into the beef (just a little, nothin crazy)
baste lightly with butter
well done bacon
cheddar (and/or american) cheese
1 thick slice of a huge tomato
fresh lettuce leaf
mayo
ketchup
salt and vinegar chips

i am very happy to say that a great loacl hot dog stand called "dogma" has just opened another location 2 blocks from my house. TGM, it should make you happy that they do a nice south florida version of the chicago style dog. i've been waiting for this for a long time!!! i hope they have great sucess!!!

now, on the other side of the coin.....i've been saying for the last 12 years that a good chicago style hot dog stand would make a fortune on miami beach. i have never had the money to do such a venture. i don't want anyone to fail, but that money could be MINE!!!!!!! god damn bad credit!!!!!!

You folks should head out to Atlanta to test you hand at the Hamdog served up at Mulligan's in Decatur..

Hot dog wrapped in a hamburger patty and deep fried. Then topped with chili, cheese, 2 handfuls of fries and a fried egg.

It was named directly in a national news article about obesity in the south.

fresh grated hosreradish in the burger
havarti, avocado, lettuce, tomatos, redonions, crispy thick bacon, and creole mustard on it
dogs-chili, cheese, red onions and jalapeno's
