The skatepark committee is putting on a contest benefit for lights, security cameras, (vs. a fence and paid pad nanny) and a new bowl! Contest/s is April 11th, 2009 @ 11am. Thanks for the support!!!

Contest Rescheduled for June 6th

"Just to let you all know, we have three bands lined up for this event ( The Mayor's Wife, The Snails, And 20 Shades Of Black).
We will also have the honor of watching 2 dj's, mixing 4 tuntables at one time! ( Dj Jason Forest, and Dj Xzact)
Could still use one more band, plus the use of a PA system. As well as volunteers to help set up and break down the contest.
Brought to you by Exist Skateboard shop, Revival Skateboards, Alternate Skates, Drama Skatebaords,Keystone Skates, Core Skateboards, Robburritto's, Rayzor Ray Tattoo's, Built to Last Tattoo's, Campbell's Music, And more to come.
$10 to enter the street or bowl contest which will have a beginner class (under 10), an Intermediate class (10 and over unless skilled), advanced (sponcered). There will also be a girls class as well as a veteran's class (over 30) in the bowl. It will cost you $5 to enter the best trick contest on the mannie pad, winner gets a cash prize so the more that enter the more cash you earn.
That's June 6th, with a rain date of June 7th, registry starts at 11 and the contest starts at 12. All proceeds will go to getting lights at the park, as well as a web/security cam, and to continue construction of the right hand kidney bowl! You can get a T-shirt with a $10 donation in white or grey. See you there!" |
